When reserving for these events, give your first & last names plus home phone number.
Your home phone number is important - even if you reserve by email.
The host may need to call you about a last-minute change.


There is a $5 levy per person per event to be paid on arrival.

A traditional Hungarian restaurant serving stews, cabbage rolls, schnitzel, dumplings, and more. Take subway to Woodbine Station then, on south side of Danforth, walk east 2 ½ blocks to restaurant. Pay parking is available on Danforth or public pay parking off of Amroth Ave (behind Value Village, 1 block east of Woodbine) for $3 after 6 pm. Event is open to 12 members. DIXIELAND JAZZ AT THE LEGENDARY GROSSMAN’S TAVERN
377 Spadina Ave.
Join Peter for an afternoon of Dixieland Jazz, 3:30pm to 7:00pm, by the Happy Pals along with beer or wine refreshments and a chance to get up and dance along to the music if you wish. UKC limit of 10 people. Coming early is advised as it gets pretty busy once the music starts. Our group will probably leave around 6:30pm to go to the Red Room restaurant, across the road at 444 Spadina, for an inexpensive Chinese dinner (optional). Ron invites you to enjoy dinner at one of the busiest restaurants in Toronto and the reason is clear... great food... It offers an eclectic menu to suit all tastes, including an extensive vegetarian selection. It has an extensive selection of wines from around the world as well as cocktails, and a selection of offerings from Canadian microbreweries. The sun-drenched 150 seat patio is available during the summer and fall – weather permitting. It is accessible from Union Station and the King subway.
