There is a $5 levy per person per event to be paid on arrival.
YOUR GUESTS and FIRST TIMERS INCLUDED.

there is a change.
Your home phone number is important - even if you reserve by email. The host may need to call you about a last-minute change.

A WALK THROUGH THE EVERGREEN BRICKWORKS AND BEYOND
In December when members visited the Brickworks, we saw a hill in the distance and decided come March we’d climb the hill to see what’s on the other side. So, join Christine to find out! Bring a snack and after we have tackled the hill (it’s not that steep or long) we can pick up a Fair-Trade coffee at the take-out coffee shop back at the Brickworks. Lots of places to sit, really friendly and helpful staff, and the public washrooms are open. You can get to the Brickworks by TTC by taking a #28 South bus from Davisville station and return the same way. The buses are every 20 minutes. We’ll meet at the Brickworks bus-stop. There is paid parking on site. Event limited to 10 socially distanced masked members. Please have a $5 bill or pre-written cheque ready payable to UK Connexion. Contact Christine by the Mon prior at email@example.com

VIRTUAL BOOK OF THE MONTH GROUP VIA SKYPE
NO LEVY NO MASK!
Christine is hosting a new 3-month levy-free, mask-free initiative and is limiting it to 10 members (including the host) to make it more comfortable, via Skype. We ask only that after you have read the blurb printed below and it interests you, that you commit to reading the three books that we finally choose and participate each month in a virtual book group meeting: Become part of a “book of the month” group to review and discuss a book. We will meet at 7 pm Wed Jan 27, Feb 24, Mar 31. The deadline to register with Christine is Jan 6 by contacting her with ONE book title (no more than one), the author and a BRIEF description or link. Once she’s received the suggestions, you’ll be sent a list and there will be a democratic draw (explained when you register) to choose five titles at random. You will then be asked to rate these five titles in order of preference. The three “favourites” will be the books we’ll read over the three-month period. Please contact Christine by Jan 6. More details will be given at that time. If we want, we can complement our meetings with a glass of wine and some nibbles! Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org
ZOOM MEETINGS EVERY FRIDAY ARE PLANNED UNTIL THE END OF MARCH.
